Ich reiste im Spätherbst 2006 für sechs Wochen mit Rucksack durch Südindien. Auf meiner Reise übernachtete ich zweimal in Misty Heights bei Lalith und seiner Familie. In diesen zwei wunderschönen Tagen wo ich mit feinem Essen und vielen tollen Ausflügen verwöhnt wurde, entwickelte sich auch eine Freundschaft. So dass ich mich entschloss mit Rajat (Manager ExplorIndya) und Familie noch eine 8-tägige Rundreise zu machen. Es war traumhaft!! Habe so viel in Südindien gesehen und erlebt, sei das in kultureller Hinsicht, herrliche Landschaften sowie Strände und habe viel über das indische Leben erfahren.
Werde dieses Jahr wiederum nach Indien reisen, den dieses Land hat mich in seinen Bann gezogen. Werde natürlich einige Zeit auch mit meiner mir ans Herz gewachsenen Familie verbringen.

It was the most fascinating 4 days of the January 2007 trip to India. After the hustle and bustle of Mumbai and Bangalore we found ourselves alone with the nature. We felt like part of the family the same moment we arrived. We knew right away that we can relax and enjoy our stay and let the Kumar family to handle all logistics. Hiking up the mountains, tracking elephants and leopards, visiting tea plantation are the highlights of that beautiful time. And the food prepared by Ravi and Renu was the best!
